Toronto Could See Its First Significant Snowfall Of The Year As Early As November

According to Accuweather's monthly forecasts.

This may be jumping the gun a little, but that's what forecasts are intended for anyway, right?

According to Accuweather.com's predictions, Toronto could be having its first significant snowfall (that is, multiple centimetres worth of snow) as early as November. Their calendar, which shows the monthly forecasts for the city, indicates that weather conditions from November 18 to 26 could involve everything from snow showers to heavier periods of snowfall (though, nothing as severe as a snowstorm).

The first signs of snow could come even earlier than that - though not a significant snowfall, flurries are still predicted for Monday, November 14th. Temperatures for that day are also predicted to get as low as -2 degrees.

No signs of snow were predicted for all of October. Historically, Toronto generally sees its first big snowfalls in December, but first signs of snow can be seen as early as October, in the form of light flurries only.
