Toronto Might Be Getting Self-Driving Cars Really Soon

No hands!

We've been waiting on them for years and according to Ontario's Ministry of Transportation, self-driving cars may in fact be on their way to Toronto.

Automated vehicles are being launched by a pilot program called WATcar in Canada, with the University of Waterloo, the Erwin Hymer Group and BlackBerry QNX steering the way. Three cars will take part in the experiment: University of Waterloo's Lincoln MKZ, Erwin Hymer Group's Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van and the 2017 Lincoln presented by BlackBerry QNX.

It has yet to be revealed when exactly these self-driving cars will hit the market and become up for grabs to the public, but we're sure looking forward to this mind-blowing technological advancement!
