Toronto Police Charge 57-Year-Old Man For The Bloor-Yonge Station Murder

The Toronto Police's Bloor-Yonge investigation is ongoing.

Yesterday morning a man was killed by an oncoming train at Bloor-Yonge subway station, but unlike many incidents and injuries at track level this was no accident. The police have charged a 57-year-old man with his murder following the incident.

Police arrived on the scene at 10:30 a.m. yesterday after the victim, an Asian man estimated to be in his 50s or 60s was pushed onto the track. The victim was rushed to the hospital, but later died of his injuries, and upon discovering suspiscious evidence the police launched a homicide investigation, arresting the 57-year-old suspect at the scene.
