Toronto To Be Hit By Massive Thunderstorm Tonight

April showers indeed.

The sunny weather was great... while it lasted. Between 2 to 3 pm today, the skies made a dramatic shift to dark clouds and no sun, setting up the stormy atmosphere for Toronto later this evening.

According to a special weather statement released by Environment Canada, Toronto is to be hit with a thunderstorm between 3 pm and 6 pm, complete with heavy rain, rough winds (up to 80 km/h) and possibly even some hail.

The storm arrives on what has been the warmest day in 2017 so far. It will eventually move out of the region later tonight.
