Toronto's Immersive Van Gogh Exhibition Opens Soon & Here's A First Look (PHOTOS)
Toronto's latest attraction is finally here and you can step into a whole other world. A warehouse space has been completely transformed into an illuminated gallery showcasing the artwork of Vincent van Gogh. Toronto's Immersive Van Gogh Exhibition is premiering soon, and here's a first look.
After months of anticipation, the attraction is almost ready to open, and you can get lost in projected portraits and brushstrokes.
Hidden inside a giant building that once housed printing presses, the Immersive Van Gogh will sweep you away to cherry blossom forests and sunflower fields.
The digital art experience displays the iconic artist's works in a unique, mesmerizing way.
The 600,000-cubic-feet, 5-storey space dances with illuminated sketches and paintings.
Over 50 projectors shine the images across the towering walls and floor, taking you right inside Van Gogh's world.
You'll recognize famous works such as "The Starry Night" and "Sunflowers."
The exhibit allows you to interact with the artist's paintings in a completely new way.
The larger-than-life projections highlight every detail and brushstroke, and the animations bring the masterpieces to life.
The Starry Night twinkles like a real night sky, and the sun actually sets over the fields in The Sower.
The 35-minute show is set to a diverse soundtrack that further immerses you in the surreal world.

Due to current restrictions on large gatherings, the experience will launch as a drive-thru exhibit, where visitors can enjoy the show from their car.
It has also implemented social distancing circles for walk-thru viewings.
