Ahh, autumn in Toronto. Such a magical time of good weather, cottage weekends and trying to cram the last fall-themed activities in before winter comes back and we’re all depressed again. Okay... maybe that was a bit dramatic, but nothing beats the feeling of leaving your apartment with nothing but a summer dress and not having to worry about how freezing cold you will be in 5 seconds.
With summer being such a quick fleeting moment, capturing it in all its beauty becomes that much more important. That’s why I'm so pumped about Annex Photo on Bloor Street!
Annex Photo is THE place you need to be to up your Instagram game and to capture those summer memories (or any memories, really) in hard copy. Basically, it's a photography shop situated in Toronto that is pretty much like a Fujifilm lover's paradise. You can instantly capture, print and edit your photos RIGHT from your iPhone. It’s so easy and even more fun!
So the deal is, they have stations where you can print your photos from your phone in different sizes and formats (square, 4x6, etc.)... plus where you can turn your Instagram, Facebook or phone images into the signature Fujifilm Instax photos instantly.
AND they have every single different Instax film border under the sun (not just the basic, but still cute, white ones!). You can essentially personalize your photos; they even have a program where you can rent an actual Instax camera for an event, or for a little while longer. And if you want to then purchase the camera after you're done, they deduct what you've already paid in rental fees from the final price. So awesome!
And they offer so many more cool services and products! You can basically turn anything into a personalized gift (or treat for yourself!) by printing custom images onto it. They have awesome (and so affordable) frames that you can customize and they even have metal prints which I’ve literally never seen anywhere in my life- basically, you can print your favorite image right onto this cool metal sheet. Hello stylish, one of a kind piece of art! Not to mention, you can also get your film developed, have passport photos taken and check out the full line of Fujifilm instant cameras and printers.
Whatever you are looking for in terms of taking your photographs or gifts to the next level - Annex Photo is the place to check out. Seriously, get in to the store before the nice weather leaves us so that when it’s sad and cold out you can always brighten your day by an adorable Instax photo of you soaking in the rays at your best friends Muskoka cottage.
