A Trucker's 'Reckless Driving' On A Major BC Highway Left A Cop 'Speechless' (VIDEO)

We can't watch! πŸ™ˆ

A trucker was spotted "reckless driving" on a B.C. highway, and it was all caught on video by another driver.

The video was recorded on Thursday, December 2, on B.C. Highway 5A, and then posted to Twitter.

It shows a truck driver appearing to take a risky move, crossing the double yellow lines to pass two other trucks as the road curved to the right.

The trucks were driving along a narrow stretch of road, and as the vehicles went around the curve, the truck driver tried to overtake them.

The video shows the driver swerving a bit, before deciding to cross the double line.

B.C. Transportation replied to the video, making it clear that the situation will be handled.

The highway where the incident unfolded was from Princeton to Merritt, making it the only access out of the Lower Mainland that day due to flooding.

Cpl. Mike Halskov, a spokesperson for the B.C. Highway Patrol, said: "I'm speechless," in an interview with CTV.

In a press conference on Thursday, Rob Fleming, the B.C. Transportation Minister, addressed Highway 3, which is open for essential travel and truck traffic.

He said that he would like to remind β€œall drivers, especially truck drivers who may be unfamiliar with this route, to please drive with caution at all times."

β€œWe can’t control the weather, obviously, but we can control how we drive and we need to keep Highway 3 free of accidents,” he added.
