You Can Race Your Friends At Alberta's Largest Snow Tubing Park This Winter
The snow is finally here, so it is time to put on your warmest coat and have at all your favourite seasonal outdoor activities. Winter wouldn't be the same without enjoying sledding down a hill. This massive snow park is the ultimate place for tubing in Alberta and it's made to challenge your friends to see who's the fastest.
Mount Norquay's Tube Park is one of the best spots to enjoy sliding down a hill in the province. It also happens to be the largest tube park in Alberta.
The incredible facility boasts eight high-speed lanes for you to zoom down. You'll want to hold onto your hat while you race down to the bottom of the mountain.
While gliding down, you'll be able to enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding snow-covered mountains.
But instead of tubing like you did when you were a kid, you can zoom down a mountain after dark! That's right; you can enjoy the exhilarating experience of tubing at night.Â
The tube park is open on Friday and Saturday nights from December 20 until 9 p.m. Or if you would prefer to go when it is sunny, the park is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. too.
As the sunsets shortly after 4 p.m. these days, that gives you several hours of tubing in the dark. At night, you'll quickly discover sliding down the hill at night is a huge rush.

To make it extra thrilling, you can challenge your friends to a race. Each person can take a different tubing lane, and you can see who can reach the bottom first.
One of the worst parts of tubing is dragging the tube back up the hill. But at Mount Norquay's Tube Park, they have a hand towing system that will bring it up for you.
Best of all, the towing system brings you up the hill too. This lets you relax and spend all your time enjoying the fun ride down!
Mount Norquay's Tube Park is only 1.5 hours away from Calgary, in the heart of Banff National Park.
It's the perfect day trip or a weekend getaway activity since it's just a short drive away from the city.
