There's a new Twitter account called "Vancouver Is Dying" and it's showing all the destruction happening in the city.

The opinionated account retweets and documents some of the negative incidents occurring in Vancouver, from violence to vandalism.

Looking at the account could seriously make someone consider a move.

In one tweet, the account said that it is "trying to become a repository for photos and videos to document what's happening in one place."

"Don't forget to retweet to raise awareness," it added.

The account retweets things like local break-ins, showing that some businesses are having trouble surviving. In addition to the stress the pandemic put on businesses, this is a hard thing to see.

Even some big fast-food chains like Tim Hortons have had to face some crime in the city. The account puts them all on display.

The account has retweeted photos showing plywood covering up broken windows. It seems like many people are noticing the alarming incidents on the streets of Vancouver.

Some stores have been targeted multiple times. When you see it all put together, it's pretty staggering.

On top of the window-smashing, the account shows a lot of graffiti that's been spotted around the city.

The account points to the government and policy a lot of the time, calling them out hard.

While the name of the account seems harsh at first, seeing the crime is heartbreaking.

Smith blames Feds for housing rules Edmonton built for over a decade

Edmonton’s densification efforts began years before the federal housing fund was launched.

Edmonton has three months to roll back its housing rules after Premier Danielle Smith ordered the city to undo its work on densification.

The premier blamed the federal government for paying cities to replace single-family houses on residential lots with buildings for 16 families and no parking. Speaking on a call-in radio program Saturday, Smith called money from the federal Housing Accelerator Fund a “bribe” to get councils to allow more housing and said Alberta was undoing “bad federal policy.”

Cultural sector groups say they’re starting to worry about the Liberal government’s silence on $600 million in promised funding.

Toronto police say they have arrested and charged a 29-year-old man accused of breaking into a charity's parking lot over Thanksgiving weekend and stealing several catalytic converters from their trucks.

Police say they arrested the man after executing a search warrant at an Oakville residence on Wednesday and charged him in connection with the thefts at Second Harvest, a charity that rescues food en route to landfills and redistributes it to people in need.
