A Taco Spot With The Yummiest Late-Night Creations Is Coming To Downtown Austin This Month
There's no shortage of delicious taco chains in Texas, especially in Austin. If you haven't tried each and every one of them by now, you need to! Velvet Taco's newest Austin location is making it easier than ever for Austinites to give their tacos a try once it opens in the city early next week.
On Monday, February 24 Velvet Taco is opening its second Austin location at 522 Congress Avenue, Suite #100 within the Scarbrough Building.
Since 2017, Austin has only had one Velvet Taco location, making Austinites from all parts of the city have to drive lengthy distances to get their hands on Velvet Taco's cuisine.
If you're familiar with Austin, then you know driving all across the city is not ideal. We like to have our favorite restaurants as close as possible.
The downtown location will offer the same menu and late-night hours as other locations, and we're super thankful for that. On top of that, it'll be neighbors with Austin favorites such as Punch Bowl Social and Taco Deli.

Velvet Taco is known for having some of the wildest taco creations in all of Texas. Their waffle tortillas take breakfast tacos to a whole new level.
If you're not there for breakfast, you won't be disappointed in their lunch or dinner menus either. Toppings such as queso blanco, crisp tenders, house brined pickles, can be found in some of their options.
