Usually, flights across the country are super expensive which has deterred many of us from exploring parts of Canada that are far away. But that's not the case anymore because we can find flights for as low as $79 from BC to Ontario this spring!

Swoop Airlines, Canada's first ultra-low-cost airline, is offering super cheap flights across Canada. Right now they only fly to some of the Canadian provinces including BC, Ontario, Alberta, Manitoba, and Nova Scotia but they'll be expanding soon!
This May, you can find a super cheap flight from Abbotsford, BC to Hamilton, Ontario both of these cities are just 1 hour from Vancouver and Toronto, respectively. On May 24th you can find one flight for $79 which is an amazing deal! Other flights in April, May and June go up to $99 which is still super affordable.

One thing to remember with Swoop Airlines is that since it's a low-cost carrier many of the perks we're used to from other airlines like free baggage check, seat selection, onboard wifi and snacks, etc. all come at an extra cost. If you can swing it, try to fit a small number of clothes into your carry on and then there won't be any hidden fees waiting for you at the gate!
Even though you have to travel outside of Vancouver to depart and you'll land outside of Toronto in Hamilton, this is still the best way to fly across the country! It's totally worth it, plus there is a GO Train that will easily take you into Toronto.
