This coming spring 2018, the LCBO will launch a service that will change our lives for the better. Aka, you'll never have to wait in line to buy alcohol again. Have to go to a party after work but are all out of alcohol? Worry not. With this new service, you'll be able to order alcohol ahead of time and pick it up at your convenience - no lines included.
Customers will be able to order alcohol online with their phone or computer, wherever they may be, and pick it up later. "The difference with click-and-collect is that you’ll be able to order and pick up in the store in a four- to five-hour time period, so if you’re having a party or something you can order and drop by the store to pick it up on your way home that day," says Chief Customer Officer of the LCBO.
While you can currently order alcohol online and have it delivered to your home with the LCBO, this new service will allow for the most convince with the least human interaction. Amazing.
