The Largest Natural Freshwater Swimming Pool In Florida Is Now Open For The Summer
The summer season is here, and that means finding the most perfect place to take a dip and cool off. The good news is that The Venetian Pool near Miami is open for the spring and summer season right now, and it's an absolutely stunning place to go!
The Venetian Pool's spring and summer season has begun and we're ready to take a dip! When it comes to keeping cool, natural freshwater is king - especially when it comes from a spring.

This 820,000-gallon pool is emptied and refilled daily using natural fresh spring water from an underground aquifer. Not only does this keep the aquifer replenished to prevent it from drying up, but it also acts as a natural filtering system so the water is always clean and cool.
The water in this pool is absolutely GORGEOUS too, always shimmering the most pristine shade of turquoise and hovering around 68-72 degrees on a regular basis - perfect for cooling off this summer; The pool is also beautifully accented with 2 man-made waterfalls as well as a bridge and architecture that gives off some serious Venice vibes!
As the largest freshwater swimming pool in the U.S., it is also the only swimming pool protected and listed by the National Register of Historic Places and is still open for us to enjoy. It was made from an old coral quarry and was filled by millionaire
If you'd like to take a dip, the pool is open for their spring and summer season right now - running May 27th-August 18th. Perfect for those who prefer to not swim in the ocean with sharks.
